Eclipse Cross adds to Mitsubishi SUV lineup

The Mitsubishi Eclipse is returning in 2018 as a crossover SUV, hence the new name, Eclipse Cross. In size, the Eclipse Cross will be in between the seven-passenger Outlander and bigger than five-passenger Outlander Sport and comes in five trim levels: ES, LE, SE, SEL and SEL Touring and all have all-wheel drive except the ES which has front-wheel drive.

The Eclipse Cross will have a 1.5-liter engine with 152 horsepower in a direct-injection turbo four-cylinder and 184 pound-feet of torque.

Inside it will come equipped with a 7-inch, high-resolution touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a new touchpad on the floor console. For more cargo room, there is a 60/40 split-rear seat that when folded will enough cargo space for any errand.

The Eclipse Cross is expected to be in showrooms in March, and Fairfield Mitsubishi is excited about its arrival. Contact our staff for more information or to test drive any of our Mitsubishi models on our lot.
